I am Yoel Droguett, a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in voice disorders and vocal training. With over 10 years of public and private practice experience, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals overcome vocal challenges and rediscover their true voice.

My expertise extends to working with singers, actors, and professional speakers. I help these "vocal athletes" refine their technique by balancing breathing, phonation, and resonance through the use of rigorous, evidence-based methods.

Beyond the clinic, I served for three years as a University Professor in Voice Disorders and have authored scientific research on voice analysis and acoustics. This deep academic background ensures that every treatment plan I create is backed by the latest science in vocal health.

For assessments, I employ specialized acoustic voice analysis software, which allows for a detailed examination of your vocal quality and characteristics. This technology helps identify specific areas that may require attention, ensuring we have a clear understanding of your vocal strengths and challenges. Additionally, I utilize electroglottography, a technique that provides real-time data on vocal fold vibration, giving us valuable insights into your production process. Together, these tools enable us to create a comprehensive picture of your vocal health and tailor a treatment plan that suits your individual needs.

To begin our collaboration, a referral from your ENT is necessary to confirm that we can work together effectively. Once we have that in place, we will set up an appointment to discuss your specific needs and how I can assist you on your vocal journey. Depending on your unique vocal challenges, we can schedule our sessions weekly, biweekly, or monthly, ensuring you receive the support and guidance that best fits your situation.
